Benefit Rates Set to Rise in April 2024/2025
Coming April 2024, recipients of government income will experience a 6.7% boost in their benefits. This increase aligns with the UK inflation rate recorded in September 2023.
Attendance Allowance:
Carers Allowance: Individuals providing care for over 35 hours a week will see their benefits increase from £76.75 to £81.90.
The New State Pension: For those who claimed after April 2016 (with at least 10 years of National Insurance contributions), the weekly pension will increase from £203.85 to £221.20.
Disability Living Allowance:
- Care component highest rate: Increased from £101.75 to £108.55.
- Middle rate: Increased from £68.10 to £72.65.
- Lowest rate: Increased from £26.90 to £28.70.
- Mobility component higher rate: Increased from £71.00 to £75.75.
- Lower rate: Increased from £26.90 to £28.70.

Pension Credit: Standard minimum guarantee increased to £218.15 for singles and £332.95 for couples.
