Proposed Benefit Rates for 2025/2026

Coming April 2025, individuals receiving government income support will see a 4.1% increase in their payments. This adjustment corresponds with the inflation rate recorded in the UK in September 2024.

Attendance Allowance

Higher rate: increasing from £108.55 to £110.40
Lower rate: increasing from £72.65 to £73.90

Carer’s Allowance

For those providing 35 hours or more of care each week, the allowance will rise from £81.90 to £83.30.

The New State Pension

Men born on or after April 6, 1951, and women born on or after April 6, 1953 are able to claim the New State Pension. People born before these dates are only entitled to the basic state pension payments.

Full New State Pension: £221.20 a week to £230.25 a week.
Full old basic State Pension: £169.50 a week to £176.45 a week.

Disability Living Allowance

Care component:
Highest rate: from £108.55 to £110.40
Middle rate: from £72.65 to £73.90
Lowest rate: from £28.70 to £29.20

Mobility component:
Higher rate: from £75.75 to £77.05
Lower rate: from £28.70 to £29.20

Personal Independence Payment

Daily Living Component:
Enhanced rate: from £108.55 to £110.40
Standard rate: from £72.65 to £73.90

Mobility Component:
Enhanced rate: from £75.75 to £77.05
Standard rate: from £28.70 to £29.20

Pension Credit

The standard minimum guarantee will increase to £227.10 for single people and £346.60 for couples.
